Sociology Transfer Pathway (A.A.)

Complete these program requirements to earn an Associate of Arts Sociology Transfer Pathway degree.

Program Requirements

  1. Completion of coursework specific to the Sociology Transfer Pathway, including completion of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) 40 Credits with the required distribution in MnTC Goal Areas 1-10.
  2. Within the Program Electives, not more than 17 credits may be occupational coursework.
  3. Developmental-level coursework does not count toward the 60 credits for the Associate of Arts Degree.
  4. A minimum of a 2.00 GPA within the required 40 MnTC credits.
  5. Multiple Measures Assessment are the evaluation tools used for student placement into appropriate college courses.
