The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunities for the development of leadership and service, an intellectual climate for exchanging ideas and ideals, lively fellowship for scholars, and stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.
Membership
To be eligible for membership:
- You must be enrolled in an accredited institution offering a degree.
- You must have completed 12 credits or more of coursework leading to a degree.
- You must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
