Course Description
Clinical II is designed to enhance the practical skills and theoretical knowledge of surgical technology students. Building upon foundational competencies, this course emphasizes hands-on experience in the clinical setting, focusing on advanced surgical procedures, team collaboration, and patient safety. Students will engage in supervised clinical practice to develop proficiency in the scrub role and assistant circulator and will demonstrate professionalism in perioperative environments.
