Complete these program requirements to earn a Nursing Assistant Certificate at Northland.
Program Requirements
- The Minnesota Department of Human Services Licensing Division Background Study must be completed in class within the first two weeks of the course. The student will be required to pay for the cost of the background study.
- Health screening data will be submitted to the allocated area in D2L as indicated by the instructor prior to participation in the clinical portion of the course.
- All students must have the required nursing assistant uniform/scrubs for clinicals. More information will be provided on the first day of class.
- The course must be completed with a grade of C (80%) or better in addition to the required number of hours must be completed prior to attending clinical.
