ANSC 2200 – Animal Feeds-Nutrition

Course Description

This course provides basic information about the fundamentals of ruminant and non ruminant nutrition. Students will examine the essential nutritional requirements of livestock, classifications, identification and evaluation of feed grains/forages, bushel weights, nutritional characteristics of feedstuffs, comparative study of digestive system of farm animals, ration formulation, and feed processing methods.
