Northland Community & Technical College is offering One-Stop Enrollment Days throughout the summer to help students prepare for the upcoming fall semester.
The events will be held at Northland’s East Grand Forks, Thief River Falls, and Warroad locations and are designed to simplify the enrollment process by allowing students to complete multiple steps in a single visit. No appointments are required, and students can attend during any scheduled session.
“One of the biggest barriers for students is not knowing where to start or feeling like they have to figure everything out on their own,” said Alyssa Montgomery, interim director of admissions and recruitment at Northland. “With One-Stop Enrollment Days, students can walk in and get the help they need—whether they’re exploring their options, have already applied, or just need help registering for classes.”
The events are open to prospective students, applicants, and current students seeking assistance with enrollment. During their visit, attendees can work one-on-one with staff to complete key steps such as:
- Applying for admission
- Filing the FAFSA and exploring financial aid options
- Meeting with an academic advisor
- Registering for classes
- Reviewing scholarships and payment options
- Learning about programs, services, and campus resources
- Taking a campus tour and obtaining a student ID
One-Stop Enrollment Days will be offered on select dates from late May through mid-August. An Extended Enrollment Week is also scheduled for Aug. 17–21 to provide additional opportunities for students to start or finalize their plans before the semester begins.
Students are encouraged to bring materials such as a photo ID, transcripts, and immunization records, though staff will assist those who do not have all documents available.
“If you don’t have everything yet, you can still come in,” Montgomery said. “We’ll help you take the next step and make a plan to move forward.”
