GRAND FORKS — Tamar Dolidze said she wouldn’t be where she is, working as a night charge nurse at Valley Senior Living on Columbia without the support of her family. Now she, in turn, supports her daughters as they both pursue medical careers, one following closely in her footsteps at the same location.
Having just graduated from Northland Community and Technical College as an RN, she also commended Valley for its support.
“The administration really helped me out with my schedule,” she said. “And my coworkers, I am thankful for them, that they were willing to switch shifts with me or totally turn over their schedule to help me out. … Here we have a tuition reimbursement program for employees, whoever wants to expand their knowledge in nursing and go further, and that was enormous help for me.”
