WARROAD, Minn. — Northland Community & Technical College will host a free Open House at its Warroad site on Wednesday, September 30, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Advanced Resource Center for Innovation & Education (ARC), located at 201 Lake Street NE in downtown Warroad.
The event invites high school students, parents, homeschool families, working professionals, adult learners, and community members to discover educational and workforce training opportunities available right in their own community.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Northland faculty and staff, explore career-focused academic programs, tour the ARC’s innovative learning spaces, and learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities that make college more affordable than many people realize.
Event highlights include:
- Guided tours of the ARC’s labs, classrooms, equipment, and innovation spaces
- Information about programs in technical trades, healthcare, business, workforce training, and university transfer pathways
- Details on financial aid opportunities, including Workforce Development Scholarships worth up to $2,500 and the North Star Promise program for eligible students
- Information about Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO), allowing eligible high school students to earn college credits at no cost
- Complimentary food and beverages provided by Springsteel Resort
- Northland gift bags and giveaways for attendees who RSVP
The event will also highlight Northland’s commitment to student success, affordability, and workforce-focused education. Through flexible pathways, hands-on learning, and strong industry partnerships, Northland helps learners achieve their educational and career goals while staying connected to their communities.
The Open House is free and open to the public. RSVPs are encouraged but not required. Individuals who RSVP in advance will receive a Northland gift bag while supplies last.
