There are many different clubs and organizations to get involved in at Northland Community & Technical College. Clubs and organizations have a range of goals, including academic, social, athletic, and awareness raising. If you don't see the right club for you, think about starting a new club.

Music Offerings at Northland


A Unique, Rewarding Experience

Northland offers several music lecture courses that are geared for the non-music major. The four lecture courses currently offered provide a broad view of the musical past in the US and abroad and include Musical Experience, Rock History, Jazz History, and World Music.

Phi Theta Kappa


Develop Leadership & Service

The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa shall be to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa shall provide opportunity for the development of leadership and service, for an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, for lively fellowship for scholars, and for stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence.

Spectating or playing, Northland ensures you'll have a great time with their many different sporting events. The college takes pride in their sports teams. The Northland Athletic Department welcomes talented athletes from the local area, as well as nationally and internationally. The department's mission is to enhance and support the intellectual mission of the college and its academic standards and practices.

Membership in the East Grand Forks campus or Thief River Falls campus Student Senate is open to students per their Senate Constitutions.
