Biography

I have been teaching full-time for the Nursing Department since 2004. I teach on-campus, online, and skill lab courses for the Practical Nursing Program. I also teach in the RN program.

Prior to my career in academia, I was employed in a variety of healthcare settings including Long Term Care (various positions), Home Health, Rural Hospital setting, and 15 years in an acute post-op surgical nursing department. I have had 14 years of experience as an EMT.

I am a board-approved Nursing Assistant instructor and examiner for Minnesota.

I also teach for Workforce Development Solutions, providing an IV Certification course (ND Board of Nursing Approved).
