First-Year Student
You’re a first-year student if you’re applying to Northland for the academic year immediately following high school or haven’t attended college since your high school graduation.
Returning Student
You’re a returning student if you previously enrolled at any Northland campus and have been away for more than one semester.
Transfer
Student
You’re currently studying or have studied at another college/university after graduating from high school and wish to attend Northland.
High School
Student
You are an eligible high school sophomore, junior, and senior in public, nonpublic, or homeschool seeking to take college classes for high school and/or college credits. This includes PSEO, CHS, and OCHS.
Military Member or Veteran
Whether transitioning to a civilian career or rising in the ranks, Northland is an excellent choice for service members, military spouses, and dependents. Thank you for your service to our country.
International Student
You are not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident but are seeking a degree, diploma, or certificate. All students are welcome at Northland.
Non-Degree Student
You’re a non-degree student if you don’t intend to complete a degree at Northland and are taking coursework for personal enrichment, to transfer to another college, or to decide if we’re the right fit.
