RESP 2125 – Neonatal Clinical 1

Course Description

This in-person clinical rotation provides supervised hospital-based experience in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care. Under the guidance of qualified clinical preceptors, students apply and refine independent clinical skills in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric care settings. Emphasis is placed on performing patient assessments, implementing and modifying respiratory therapy plans, managing mechanical ventilation, and providing comprehensive care for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.
