RESP 1211 – Critical Care Theory 1

Course Description
This course provides students with a comprehensive theoretical foundation in respiratory and critical care principles. Topics include airway management, interpretation of chest radiographs, arterial blood gas analysis, and the underlying concepts of noninvasive and mechanical ventilation. Emphasis is placed on developing the cognitive knowledge required for critical care respiratory practice and preparing students for subsequent clinical and laboratory coursework.
