Course Description
This course introduces students to the foundational equipment and procedures used in basic respiratory care. Emphasis is placed on hands-on practice and demonstration of oxygen delivery systems, medical gas therapy, humidity and aerosol administration, bronchial hygiene techniques, and introductory respiratory pharmacology. Students develop essential psychomotor skills needed to perform entry-level respiratory care interventions safely and effectively.
