RADT 1114 – Radiographic Proc I

Course Description
This course provides students with the knowledge necessary to perform radiographic procedures relative to the thoracic and abdominal organs, upper extremities, lower extremities, shoulder girdle and pelvic girdle. The function and related procedures of the digestive and hepatobiliary systems will also be covered. Emphasis will be on radiographic terms, anatomy, positioning, manipulation of radiographic equipment and accessories, and related patient care considerations.
Prerequisite(s)
Acceptance into Radiologic Technology program. BIOL2260, CHEM1020, HLTH1106, MATH1111.
