Peace Officer Skills 2
This course is offered to students who have successfully completed the Criminal Justice courses which contain the Peace Officer Standards and Training objectives and are planning to take the state licensing exam. This course contains hands-on learning experiences in driving, defensive tactics, advanced patrol procedure, advanced firearms. Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) objectives are included in each learner outcome (P.O). Prerequisite: CRJU2229.

Course Notes
Contact the program director prior to enrollment. Must purchase tactical black boots/shoes as well as khaki colored cargo-style pants. Must pass the Northland recognized physical fitness test. Students must pass CRJU 2229 to continue on to CRJU 2239. Students who do not pass CRJU 2229 will be dropped from CRJU 2239.
