Spend a day on campus exploring healthcare or human services careers through hands-on activities, real equipment, and guidance from professionals—while meeting new friends and getting a taste of college life.

Camp Information

A full day of hands-on learning and career exploration.

This free, one-day camp is designed for students ages 12 and up who want to learn by doing. Camp activities are interactive, engaging, and welcoming—no prior experience required. If you’re passionate, curious, or somewhere in between, you belong here.

Students age 12 and up who are interested in learning more about careers in Health and Human Services—no prior experience needed.

Camp applications will remain open until spots fill. The one-day camp is expected to fill quickly, so please apply early.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at the East Grand Forks campus. Specific check-in location details will be shared with registered participants prior to the event.

No—this is a supervised drop-off event. Northland staff and faculty will be present throughout the day to ensure a safe and supportive experience.

Yes, lunch is provided at no cost. If you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, please indicate them during registration so we can plan accordingly.

Participants will rotate through hands-on activities in Northland’s health labs, exploring areas such as patient care, medical equipment, and other health and human services career experiences.

Yes. A brief Confidentiality Agreement and Media Release form must be completed prior to the camp.

A photographer may be present to capture highlights from the day. Completing the media release gives Northland permission to use photos for promotional purposes. Participation is completely voluntary—you may choose not to be photographed.

If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible so another student can take your spot.
