WDS Basic Life Support CPR for Healthcare Providers

Open Enrollment: This course is intended for individuals who must be CPR and AED certified for school and employment in any healthcare field. Topics covered in this course include: Rescue breathing, CPR for adults, children and infants, two-person CPR, use of a Bag Valve Mask (BVM), care of an obstructed airway, and how to use an Automatic External Defibrillator.

We combine American Heart Association (AHA) video-based teaching, verbal instruction, and hands-on skills-practice using manikins. Successful completion of the class will include a written test and a skills-based practical evaluation by the instructor.
