Northland's Liberal Arts programs offer a world of opportunities for students to explore. Join us for 'Experience Northland: Liberal Arts Exploration' at our East Grand Forks campus on April 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event is specifically designed for high school juniors and seniors who want to learn more about classes, careers, and transfer opportunities through the Liberal Arts programs at Northland. Northland faculty will guide you through the classes, career options, and transfer opportunities available through the Liberal Arts programs at Northland.
Immerse yourself in a diverse range of breakout sessions, including:
- An African drumming and Music major session where you can engage in hands-on experiences.
- See how the Social Sciences and Sciences can combine into career opportunities.
- A session focused on exploring exciting careers available to those with a major in History.
- Explore everything from our body systems to the solar system with careers in Science.
- For those who love Math, we have a fun session planned that will help you calculate your future and engage in stimulating activities.
- Tap into your creativity with a creative writing session hosted by our English faculty.
- Explore how Art can lead to a fulfilling career and help unleash your inner artist.
- Our Communications faculty will also be leading an engaging session on film and media studies to increase your media literacy.
- Lastly, you can meet with transfer representatives who can guide you on how to start at Northland and go anywhere with a degree in Liberal Arts.
