Northland will auction off a 3 BR, 1-3/4 BA home built by students in the Carpentry program. The auction proceeds go back into the carpentry program, funding materials, equipment, and next year’s home build.

The house is an energy efficient 3 BR, 1-3/4 BA Rambler with cantilevered floor. The building area is approx. 1400 square feet (28′ x 50′). See documents section below for floor plans.

- BIDDING
- Minimum bid: $115,000
- Bid increments: $1,000
- PURCHASE
- Purchaser will provide $5,000 earnest money at auction, check payable to Northland Community & Technical College.
- The purchase agreement must be signed on or before September XX, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
- PAYMENT
- Balance of bid price paid by 4:00 p.m. on October XX, 2024.
- Balance payment includes Minnesota state sales tax of 7.375 on 65% of the purchase price, and all closing costs. Earnest money will be applied toward the purchase price.
- POSSESSION
- Once the purchase agreement is executed, the buyer must arrange for and pay for the removal of the house from the college property and maintain insurance.
