Why Participate in Northland EXPO?

Build Awareness. Inspire Interest. Grow Your Future Workforce.

Northland EXPO is designed to help students connect the dots between: high school → college → careers. As an employer, your presence makes this connection real.

EXPO allows you to:

  • Introduce students to high‑demand careers in your industry
  • Build early awareness of your company or organization
  • Help students understand the skills, education, and pathways needed to succeed
  • Engage with future talent before career decisions are finalized
  • Strengthen the regional talent pipeline through early workforce investment

While traditional job fairs focus on immediate hiring, career exploration events like Northland EXPO play a critical role in developing informed, motivated future employees—especially in industries facing long‑term workforce shortages.

By investing time today, you help create the skilled workers your industry will need tomorrow.

  3. Create a Visual Experience – Photos, tools, equipment, uniforms, or videos help students picture the job.
  4. Make It Interactive – Hands‑on demos or simple activities increase engagement and retention.
