NCTC to Host State of the College 2017

President Bona to deliver the State of the College Address on Oct. 19.

Northland Community & Technical College (NCTC) will be hosting the 2017 State of the College Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017. The address will feature Northland President Dr. Dennis Bona discussing the theme of the event, "Building Community Through Service", at 11:30 a.m. at Northland's East Grand Forks campus commons.

"Building Community Through Service" will expand upon the new Service Learning Program and the vision for students at NCTC to gain learning experience within the community. Dr. Bona will share how the Service Learning Program will contribute to students overall academic success while providing support to the community. During the event, an overview of NCTC’s enrollment and new programs will be provided. In addition, scholarship opportunities including the Engelstad “Never Too Late” Scholarship Challenge will be announced.

The luncheon, co-hosted by The Chamber of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, costs $20 per person or $160 for a reserved table of 8 and reservations are required. Reservation deadline is October 11, 2017 and seating is limited.
