Ruth Christensen has been chosen as the Northland Community & Technical College (NCTC) nominee for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (Minnesota State) Board of Trustees, Educator of the Year award for 2016-2017. She is an English faculty member at NCTC's Thief River Falls campus.
Ruth was chosen from a widely skilled and dedicated group of faculty across both of NCTC's campuses. She emphasized, "As a Northland Community & Technical College graduate and English faculty member, I am thrilled to represent the college I love! I know personally the excellent work being done in the lives of students at NCTC, and I am privileged to be one of the many faculty members who work diligently to offer our students an excellent education in a caring environment. I am truly honored by this nomination."
