Student Life Event

Stargazing Night

DATE: Thursday, September 17, 2020
TIME: 7:30am - 8:30am
LOCATION: EGF - Front Lawn

Event Description

Students, We hope you are settling in to your new normal as we all adapt to this unusual semester. We know that under normal circumstances we’d have had opportunities to meet new people, make new friends, and enjoy time to unwind with one another face to face on campus. While we can’t grant that right now, we are inviting you to our first student life activity for the Fall 2020 semester. Together with colleague Jeff Bell, I invite you to come stargaze with us and learn how to read the stars and find our local constellations. As this will be an outdoor activity, we can have more confidence in keeping you socially distanced and thus, limiting the risk of CoVID exposure. We still have a limit on number of participants however, so there is a sign up sheet at the front desk; max. number of students we can host is 23 for this event. If you’re interested, please sign up with Karen Meine at the front desk, and reserve the date of Thursday, September 17th from 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., and we will gather on the front lawn of the EGF campus.
