Information for Businesses

Northland Expo is a unique event that brings together students in grades 7-12 from the Northern Valley area, which includes parts of Northwest Minnesota and Northeast North Dakota. This year, the event will take place on different dates at each of our campus locations: East Grand Forks (April 23), Thief River Falls (April 10), and Warroad (April 2).

Why is the Northland Expo important?

The Northland Expo is an important event for several reasons. It brings together employers who can share their knowledge and experiences about jobs that are in high demand with students. This is essential as it helps guide students toward careers they might enjoy and succeed in.

While job fairs are excellent for finding new employees, events that focus on exploring college and career options are just as important. They give students a chance to learn about different educational paths and job opportunities before they choose their next steps.

By coming together and investing in our future workforce now, we are helping to create skilled workers who will be prepared for the jobs of tomorrow.
