Course Description
This course provides students with knowledge of the factors that control and influence image quality. Topics include the components of digital imaging as they relate to image formation, and display. The principles of exposure that affect image quality and the criteria for evaluating these factors will be presented. Students will be introduced to image processing and acquisition errors that affect image quality and technical factors associated with controlling patient exposure.
