Program Requirements

1. 1. Completion of coursework specific to the Communication Studies Transfer Pathway, including completion of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) 40 Credits with the required distribution in MnTC Goal Areas 1-10.
2. The 4 required Pathway courses (CMST 1101, CMST 1103, CMST 1111, CMST 2205) must be passed with a C grade or better to complete the Communication Studies Pathway.
3. Within the Program Electives, not more than 20 credits may be occupational coursework.
4. Developmental-level coursework does not count toward the 60 credits for the Associate of Arts Degree.
5. A minimum of a 2.00 GPA within the required 40 MnTC credits.
6. Multiple Measures Assessment are the evaluation tools used for student placement into appropriate college courses.
