Receptionist - PT

Job Description:  
Excellent phone and interpersonal skills including poise, tact, diplomacy and ability to handle sensitive, confidential and challenging situations are essential.

· Computer experience including proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have good keyboard skills with a high degree of accuracy.

· Must have cooperative attitude, sound judgment, flexibility, resourcefulness and the ability to ensure confidentiality of information

· Must have strong customer service orientation and strong organizational skills

· Previous experience answering a multi-line phone system preferred

· Pleasant and professional in appearance and manner

· Ability to work other times as needed


· Greet visitors and guests. Announces arrival to appropriate person(s).

· Answer, and direct incoming calls. Keeps up to date with radio program information to respond appropriately to callers. Maintain a calm and professional demeanor.

· Handle purchases of deals/products sold by station. Maintain strong internal controls for payment collections including, but not limited to: the ability to conduct cash/check/credit card transactions with customers in an efficient and professional manner.

· Handle general business tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, shipping/mail, etc. as needed.

· Distribute prizes, make sure release forms are completed with all necessary information/signatures and tracking workbooks are updated.

· Assist Traffic/Administrative, Programming, Sales departments as needed.

· Report to work on time and work established schedule/hours

· Attends and participates in meetings as required.

· Other duties as needed.
