ROBO Storm
ROBO Storm Camp consists of two action packed days learning and interacting with Lego Mindstorm NXT Robots. The camp is for middle school students who have completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
Campers will have the opportunity for hands on building, programming, learning, and discovery! The camp is led by two Northland Community & Technical College faculty members. Campers will enjoy building robots, touring a local business to see how automation and robotics are used in "real life", and meeting new friends!
Previous Robo Storm camper comments include: "Make it longer so we can learn more." "The best thing about camp was being able to build the robots and program them." "I had such a good time, I wish there were camps like these closer to home." "I thought it was very fun and exciting."
During the summer of 2009, we will host three camps in northwestern Minnesota: East Grand Forks, Thief River Falls, and Roseau. The camp is partially funded through the generosity of 360, a Minnesota State Colleges and Universities Center of Excellence in Manufacturing and Applied Engineering.
