NOTICE! Registration Cancellation Policy

MONDAY, AUGUST 5TH or classes will be cancelled. Cancellation for non-payment processes will also be run on FRIDAY, AUGUST 23RD and FRIDAY, AUGUST 30TH, 2013.

Having a solid plan for covering the cost of college is an important step toward graduation. Northland is pleased to enlist the services of FACTS to make the process easier for you.

Northland Community and Technical College shall cancel student registration for all credit courses unless one of the following conditions has been met:

  • 1Students who have filed for financial aid and an Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) has been received by Northland;
  • 2Students who are enrolled in the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program;
  • 3Students who have been in the military and are awaiting funding from the Veterans Administration and have a deferment in place;
  • 4Students attending under a consortium agreement with another MN state college or university who have ISIRs on file at those institutions;
  • 5Students who have set up a payment plan with FACTS NelNet Management Company (requires a down payment of $300 or 15% of the total due for tuition and fees).
  • 6Students who have paid at least $300 or 15% of the tuition and fees due;
  • 7Students who have received an approved waiver at least equal to the amount of tuition and fees due;
