Meets MnTC goal area(s):3 Prerequisite:BIOL2254 Anatomy & Physiology II This course is designed to increase the learners understanding of the mechanisms involved in the normal functioning of the human body, with lesser emphasis regarding the effects of disease on that functioning. Focus is on the body defenses and interaction and integration of body processes. Upon completion of this course, learners should have an enhanced knowledge and appreciation to the complexities of the human body by learning both the human anatomy of physiology for multiple organ systems and an understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie human physiology. This is a general education course for all learners interested in better understanding of human physiology. This course includes lab-like activities and exercises.
