The Pre-Denistry emphasis area is for students who wish to earn their Associate degree and then transfer to a four-year college, university or professional school. These courses will prepare students to earn a degree at other institutions that will lead to a career in dentistry.

It is recommended that students contact professional schools they are interested in attending to be sure that their admission requirements are properly met. Students should also discuss their professional ambitions with their advisors in order to get recommendations of courses that will best prepare them for their choice of programs.

Students need to have a strong background in the Behavioral Sciences, English, and Humanities.
