Course Description:

This course covers the basics of emergency rescue situations that are common to all types of rescues. It will cover specific areas, such as site operations, resource and victim management, maintenance of tools, apparatus, hardware, and powering systems. Additionally, it will address the components of an Incident Management system, accountability of rescue personnel, and how to properly assess the emergency rescue scene. NFPA 1006 Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications will be met up to the awareness level.
