CDEV 1105 - Development/Guidance
This course provides an overview of the development of children from conception through school age, with emphasis in the following areas: physical, cognitive, language, creative, and social emotional. It integrates theory with developmentally appropriate practice in home, center-based, and school settings. In addition, this course gives students an introduction to positive child guidance techniques for individual and group settings. The course will help students to understand behavior problems and identify strategies to prevent and resolve problem behaviors.
