AVIA 1101 - Aviation Basics

Course Description:

This course reviews program policies, technician privileges and limitation as set by Federal Aviation Regulations, familiarization with government and industry publications and records, ground operations and servicing of various aircrafts. Students learn about hardware material and hand tools used in construction, repair and maintenance of aircraft, including metal alloys and their heat-treatment, fluid lines and fittings, aircraft cable systems and precision measurements.
