24-Hours a day, 7 days a week

Pioneer 90.1 is on the air twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. All day and overnight on the weekdays, NCTC Mass Communications students bring you Active Adult Alternative music from the artists you know (like Sarah McLachlan, R. E. M., and Coldplay) and the best new and underground artists you're going to hear here first. Throughout the day, we air a variety of informative and entertaining features (see the program schedule for the entire list). At 6 p.m. on the weekdays, we take time for some long-form information and entertainment programs. Then at 7 p.m. community volunteers hit the air with music specialty programs. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, we broadcast two different lineups of nationally-syndicated music specialty shows. Then more volunteer programming takes you through your weekend afternoons and evenings.
