Northland Community & Technical College to Celebrate 2019 Graduates at Spring Commencement Ceremonies

April 29, 2019 – Northland Community & Technical College will honor more than 821 graduates during two spring commencement ceremonies. The Thief River Falls campus will celebrate its 52nd commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 16 in the Northland gymnasium at 6:30 p.m. with an open house to follow in the Gunderson Commons. Northland's East Grand Forks campus will hold their 44th commencement ceremony on Friday, May 17 at 11 a.m. in the Chester Fritz Auditorium, Grand Forks, ND.

“A lot is said about life being more about the journey than the destination, but it’s also true that you need to stop and celebrate the accomplishments as they occur or you will never appreciate your progress,” expresses Northland’s President, Dennis Bona. “Commencement is a must opportunity to celebrate a major achievement in your life and although it’s always fun to have people supporting you at the event, trust me when I say the pride you feel when you walk across that stage is amazing whether someone is there to see it or not. It’s personal and it’s deeply satisfying.”

All are invited to attend or to watch the ceremonies streamed online.

Live Stream Broadcast

If you would like to view the commencement ceremonies but are unable to attend in person, a live stream webcast of the commencement exercises will be available online. A link to the live stream will be posted on the commencement webpage shortly before the ceremony begins. The video will play once broadcasting starts and can be viewed on your computer, mobile device, or smart TV. Commencement ceremonies are expected to last approximately 90 minutes.
