Andrew Dahlen has been selected as the Northland Community & Technical College nominee for the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) Board of Trustees, Educator of the Year award for 2014-2015. He is the program coordinator for the Electronics Technology department located on the Thief River Falls campus.
Andrew was selected from a well-qualified faculty group at NCTC that includes Bonnie Andrys, Ruth Christensen, and Justin Berry. When asked for his reaction to his nomination, he said, "Thanks to everyone involved in the selection process. I am humbled yet honored for the opportunity to represent Northland in this capacity. While I appreciate being recognized for my work, it is important to shout-out to my colleagues; each instructor at Northland deserves recognition for their outstanding talents and dedication to student success".
Andrew will now be preparing his portfolio and submission package for the state-wide selection in March-April 2015.
