Northland Foundation to Host Scholarship Fundraising Picnic on June 12, 2014

The Northland Community & Technical College Foundation (NCTC Foundation) will host a Scholarship Fundraising Picnic on Thursday, June 12, 2014 starting at 5:30 pm. The picnic dinner will be held in the Gunderson Commons, located at the Thief River Falls campus of Northland Community & Technical College (Northland).

The event, co-sponsored by Sanford Health, will feature a social hour, dinner, and program. The evening will also include opportunities to tour the campus, including the Imagery Analysis classrooms and labs.

A picnic style dinner is planned with barbecue chicken, salads, and ice cream sundaes.

The event costs $30.00 per person ($35 at the door). Tickets may be purchased online at or at either of Northland’s campus bookstores. Event sponsorships are also available to purchase online or through the foundation office.

The Scholarship Fundraising Picnic schedule will feature dinner and a cash bar. The schedule is:
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Social Hour and Northland Campus Tours
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Dinner and Program

Net proceeds from the Fundraising Picnic will assist the Northland Community & Technical College Foundation in its mission to support the college by providing opportunities for contributors to invest in and enhance the educational experience of Northland students.
