Earth Day Movie Screenings

Event Description

Monday, April 22 is Earth Day. As a part of our commitment to bring you programming that raises awareness, Student Life and our Library are partnering to show two films from a Native American perspective on conservation. The first is: AWAKE: A Dream from Standing Rock and the second is Inuit Lands: The Melting Point. We will show the movies back to back, with certificates of attendance available if your instructors are offering extra credit for these viewings. We will hold the viewings in room 360, starting at 11:00 a.m. The run times of these movies are 104 minutes and 89 minutes respectively. If you are unable to view these movies on Monday, they are also available in the NCTC library for check out later.
