Northland College Student Nurses Association (NCSNA) at the Thief River Falls campus has elected officers for the 2009-2010 school year. The officers are from the AD Nursing Program and include: Jennifer Field of Thief River Falls, president; Amy Petrovich of Thief River Falls, vice president; Heather Bregier of St. Hilaire, secretary; Nathan Bennett of Newfolden, treasurer; and Jay Hicks of Thief River Falls, advertising.

The purpose of the NCSNA club is to provide nursing students who are interested in supporting health promotion and prevention activities at Northland Community and Technical College with an organizational structure to accomplish that purpose. Club members will plan events during the school year to promote health on the Thief River Falls campus.

“The AD Nursing program is extremely proud of the leadership abilities these students portray,” stated Sue Field, Director of AD Nursing. “The club members will be responsible for planning the pinning ceremony for their class in the spring of 2010, and they will also attend a conference in the spring that will help them advance their leadership skills.”
