Professional Experience
I have been teaching full time for the Practical Nursing Department since 2004. I teach on campus nursing courses, skills lab courses, online courses, and PN clinicals. Prior to my career in academia, I was employeed in a variety of health care settings. I have worked in Long Term Care (various positions), Home Health, Rural Hospital setting, and 15 years in an acute post-op surgical nursing department.
Education
1983 Practical Nursing License 1987 Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota 2012 Masters of Science in Nursing Education from the Minnesota State University Moorhead.
