The Manufacturing Technology Associates Degree program for the working adult provides the student three certificate options to choose from to customize the A.S. degree program for his/her specific employment needs:

  • Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement
  • Production and Inventory management
  • Manufacturing Principles

These students must be employed full-time at a manufacturing plant to enroll in this credit-based certificate and degree program.

A combination of 30 credits from the three certificate programs, and 30 credits of general education credits distributed between the six areas of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum will qualify students to earn an Associate in Science in Manufacturing Technology. The graduate of the AS Manufacturing Technology must complete the requirements of at least two of the proposed certificates and 30 credits of general education to continue in the Bachelors in Manufacturing at University of Minnesota-Crookston.
