Work Anywhere in the World
With an FAA A&P Certificate, graduates have the opportunity to work anywhere in the world they choose. The outlook for future employment in the Aviation Maintenance field is excellent, the FAA forecast for employment through 2020, predicts substantial growth in all areas of aviation including, network carries, regional airlines, and, especially general aviation with point-to-point air taxi, through the introduction of Very Light Jets (VLJ) or microjets. Excellent Pay with Great Benefits
Annual salaries for experienced A&P certified mechanics often range from $50,000 - $75,000. In addition, benefits are excellent and often include flight privileges, vacation, life and health insurance, and retirement benefits. Since the FAA curriculum requires knowledge and skill developed in 43 different subject areas, Northland College AMT graduates truly have an advantage for employment outside of the aviation industry as well.
