Northland Community & Technical College Head Basketball Coach Guy Finstrom has signed seven new players to the Pioneer women’s basketball team. Brittany Wiseth, a center from Lincoln High School; Cassie Gunderson, a forward from Lincoln High School; Danelle Schommer, a forward from Win-E-Mac High School; Brittany Kirkeide, a center from BGMR; Lakiyah Brown, a guard from Camden, NJ; Ashley Sundeen, a guard from Lakota, ND; and Bridget Lunde, a guard from Maddock, ND, have signed letters of intent to play women’s basketball for the 2009-2010 school year.
The list of students earning Minnesota College Athletic Conference Academic recognition for both their academic and athletic performance for the 2008-2009 winter and spring sports season has been released.
