Terrell Lipkins Breaks Northland Men's Basketball Scoring Record

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MINN. (February 3, 2011) –Terrell Lipkins broke Northlands Men’s Basketball individual game scoring record by scoring 47 points against Rainy River on Wednesday, February 2nd, breaking the previous mark of 46 points held by Dale Hanson (73), David Dickey (75), Terry Harris (81) and Ricardo Wells (09). Terrell also added 8 rebounds and 4 steals in a win over Rainy River. Lipkins shot 69.5% from the field including 7/9 from the three point line and 8/9 from the free throw line. Lipkins is leading the NJCAA Division III Basketball in scoring with 27.6 points per game through 21 games. Terrell is a Sophomore guard for the Pioneers. Terrell’s parents are George Davis and Rosetta Johnson from Canton, OH.
