Whitney Langen named NJCAA Volleyball All-American


Northland Community and Technical College sophomore Whitney Langen of Kennedy, MN, has received All-American honors by the National Junior College Athletic Association.



Whitney was one of 18 volleyball players to be named JJCAA All-American for volleyball. Whitney was 1st in the MCAC North in attack percentage with 43%, kills per game with 3.4, and 5th in blocking average with .6 blocks per game. Whitney helped the Pioneer’s with a 17W & 9L record and advancement to the MCAC State Tournament. Coach Abdul Chamma was very pleased to have a player like Whitney on the team his first year coaching the Pioneers. “Whitney was a great leader for our team. You could always depend on her. She worked hard to achieve her goals and our goals as a team,” said Coach Chamma.



Whitney is the daughter of Dave & Char Langen of Kennedy, MN.
