- Terry has been an Assistant Football Coach at NCTC since 1987
- Terry has also served the Pioneers as an Assistant Baseball Coach since 2001 and had been the Head Baseball Coach from 1988 to 1997.

- 5 years Head Girls Basketball Coach, Assistant Boys Basketball Coach in Central Valley High School in Buxton ND.

Terry brings many years of experience to the Pioneer Football program. His defensive football teams have often been ranked in the nation against the run and the pass. Terry has coached a number of All-American and All-Region players. He is also a former head coach and a long-time assistant for the Northland baseball team.
Terry earned his Associate Degree at Itasca Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree at Dana College and a Masters Degree in Biology at NDSU. While at Itasca and at Dana, Terry was a member of the college football teams. Terry currently serves as Biology, Anatomy and Physiology instructor at Northland. He is also a long time youth baseball coach in Thief River Falls.
Terry and his wife, Darlene, have five children: daughters Stephanie and Sallie; and sons Steven, Stacy and Spencer. All five children are former or future Northland Pioneers. |
