Our History

In 1976, a group of progressive-minded individuals came up with the idea to attract more students to Northland Community College by building on-campus housing and award student scholarships. The original group was made up of approximately 18 people who gave $1,000 each. A plaque in our NCTC Foundation display case currently honors those Charter members. Today, over 500 contributors give at all different levels. These people share the same inspiring ideas of those Charter members.
